MINT Museum of Toys - a museum showcasing unique and rare collection of vintage toys. MINT stands for Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys. The toys are spread across 5 floors of this museum. Teddybears,Flinstones,Tom & Jerry,Disney,Alice,Popeye,Tintin and many more. The museum even has large collection of original enamel signs and tin boxes. The exhibits give a glimpse of the era and revolutions of those days."White Star Line" tobacco tin was one such exhibit which used to belong to one of the survivors of the ship Titanic. Golliwog dolls exhibits marked as a historical reminder of the need for racial sensitivity.It also had newspapers of the times headlining the Kennedy Assassination and when Johnson was sworn in as President. One of my favorites were the toys and mugs of The Beatles. There were many toys of superheroes - Captain America, Batman and the Justice League team. But what caught my eye was a toy of The Joker smiling and standing alone amidst the heroes. It sure looked eerie even as a toy! #singapore #MINT #museum #toys #nostalgia #childhood

Convenient location in reasonable price. Very close to Clarke Quay MRT, 5 minutes walk and you’ll get there. 15 minutes to reach the heart of Chinatown. 10 minutes walk to the Fair Price supermarket. Two convenient stores within 100 metres. Provide very basic breakfast and the staff there is nice and friendly. Most of the front desk staff are friendly too. The facilities inside the room is a little disappointing. The air conditioner has noise after opening it for some time. No clothes hangers in the bath room, though hangers can be found near the front door, they are fixed there and cannot be taken out for use in the bath room. The sound insulation of the room need improving as you may hear your neighbours chatting and their television sound late at night.
