「The stay was good. The pub was clean, the staff really friendly and the food was good too. But I'm not sure about putting guests in the top floor rooms with only a fan! The rooms were unbearably hot. The fan did nothing and the only time the room cooled was the early hours of the morning. Not good!」

「We were very impressed with everything about the property. We would not hesitate to stay there again if ever we are in that area.」

「Checked out on arrival as the room had no air conditioning and the temperature of the room was at least 45 degrees, we were offered a fan but this would not have helped. The room was also really small, with an unpleasant smell but it was nicely furnished.Requested another room as apparently some rooms do have a.c. (The hallway leading to the room was a pleasant temperature) we were told they were fully booked (although Trivago showed 3 rooms available when we looked for somewhere else)...

「Beautiful position at base of Haytor Rocks. Parking easy and plenty of room inside and outside no matter what the weather. Staff great. Would recommend try and book with breakfast included. Likely to be a better deal. It is a shame the hotel has yet to install an electric charging point. There is one at an adjacent tourist facility but out or order. Other than that great!」

「What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.」

「Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history」

「A nice hotel set in 7 acres of garden with access directly onto the sea front. All staff were very friendly and helpful although at busy times at breakfast time they could do with more people to help out. The pool was a great asset in the hot weather and fans in the bedroom helped with the heat and was a nice touch. The only minor complaint I might have is the traffic noise from the busy road just behind the hotel. I had a bedroom facing this road ( the back of the hotel) and the traffic started...

「I don’t know who Lord Haldon is, but one thing I know for sure is that he hates everyone who stays at his hotel. We’ll start with the positives. The views from the garden and parking area are lovely. The bed was clean and comfortable. End of positives. Both the hotel’s communal areas and our room were extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and in need of a complete renovation. The shower, in particular, was pretty gross and just about dribbled out of the showerhead. No toilet brush was provided...

「Food was great, staff very helpful, bar and dining room very tidy and clean, good range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft although I am out of touch with prices so had a bit of a shock. This is not a negative, just reality. Plenty of parking and convenient at the rear to avoid stairs. Some areas are in need of decorating such as stairwell and corridors however not terrible. Outside areas need tidying around the back of the building but the beer garden/smoking area was good. Wheel chair...
