「We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the area fairly quiet. It’s a short walk into town, so very conveniently positioned. The staff were very helpful and responsive, even agreeing to a late check out at short notice which was much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again and I recommend it to others.」

「We had 2 rooms for a 3 night stay. The hotel price was excellent value for money and which included breakfast and parking. The breakfast offered cooked options which were freshly prepared by order. All the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean with modern decor and bathrooms and with quality beds and bed linens. There was ample parking. The hotel was set in pleasant grounds and conveniently close to the motorway and a great stopping off point for local attractions, villages and country...

The lighting in the hallways near reception was extremely poor, which didn’t feel welcoming or safe. There were leaks coming through the ceilings with no buckets underneath, meaning you had to walk through puddles just to reach your room. The whole building had a noticeable damp smell throughout.
