「The hotel was in an ideal location, easy to walk to from the train station and in the right position for all amenities for shopping and entertainment. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all essential items needed. There’s plenty of places to eat and drink and there’s Tesco extra close by if you have forgotten anything. Enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.」

「Staff were incredibly nice and helpful, especially Fay (hopefully I've spelt her name correctly). Food is brilliant and the bar area is such a nice place sit. Only thing I would maybe say is the lighting in the restaurant is quite bright but that is being a bit pernickety. I would highly recommend staying there. I very much doubt you'll find better in the area. 」

「After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. 」

「Just back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Tor-na-coille. We stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious and spotless. Loved all the original features of this beautiful building. The staff all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Fresh fruit and delicious cooked breakfast every morning, we dined once in the evening which was superb and very good value, rounded off with a nightcap in front of the roaring fire in the lounge. 「What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.」
