We stayed one night. The room was clean, although the decor is dated and somewhat shabby. The bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was excellent (scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, biscuits, grits, fresh mixed fruit,toast, cereal, and drinks. All Staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is huge and beautiful, and the man who checked me in was very nice. Our room was clean, comfortable, and I really liked that it had a balcony. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing. The grits had a strange taste and were watery, the sausage seemed old and dry, the eggs weren’t hot, and the gravy looked old and crusty. It honestly seemed like the breakfast food had been reheated from the day before. The stay itself was pleasant, but the quality of the breakfast definitely needs improvement.

Very nice quiet and comfortable stay. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Check in/out was a breeze. The free breakfast was a plus and exceeded my expectations. Room service was on the ball! The negative to report is we would've loved to have two chairs instead of one because of my wife and I's handicap we relax better in a comfortable chair than lying in bed.
