"The great southern is in a great location near to all the transport ,have been going here for many years have seen it transform into a very comfortable hotel ,onsite restaurant has reasonable meals with 5 to 7 happy hour on drinks would recommend the great southern"

"I was fortunate enough to be upgraded into a corner apartment, so I had two bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen. Very generous, but I was travelling alone and didn't need the space. The room was a little tired, although nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a blind missing in the lounge causing a lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. I was on the 10th floor, but there are other tall buildings nearby. The restaurant was closed, but there were nice cafes and a pub nearby. The free tram was a one minute walk away, and that gets you around the CBD at no cost."

"Room with balcony was a bonus, only bad part was the balcony was next to the big vents so they were a tad noisy at night. Room feel was exceptional, I would stay here again."

"Everything you expect from a modern and young feeling 5 star hotel! Staffs are all very friendly, attentive and definitely respect your space. Decor is beautiful and designer. Mini bar items are charged at reasonable prices and there water fountains on room levels complementary to guests."
