「Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out. 「Stables 5 .Lovely cottage in a restored Steading set back from the road and close to the river Tay. Modern and very well appointed, with a small garden for dogs, warm and traditional - contemporary decoration with a french country feel. Wonderful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. In fact, perfect for us.」

「Lovely old clean well maintained house set in a gorgeous garden. Run by nice people who served me a really nice cooked breakfast. Only downside was the shared bathroom although it was clean, well kept and not too busy.」

「The place is lovely where it is. A little hard to find as I was used to the old entrance to the race course which has now changed. The bathroom toilet set was suited to the bowl it was on and some of the walls were still not painted. However if you ignored those things. Everything else was very good. It will be a lot better when they can get a chef or cook for the restaurant side of the business as there wasn’t one when we visited over 2 days. 」

「Lovely little village hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. My twin room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea tray with range of teas/coffee/biscuits etc. and premium bottled waters. Large shower room and ample towels, toiletries and bath robes. Only complaint is kitchen closes early at 6.45pm and no other options to eat out close by and rooms to front can be noisy being on a main road. Overall, would stay again, ideal for racecourse and Palace.」

「Stayed as a family. Nice and quiet, even though close to A90/broxden roundabout. Room clean and comfy beds. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant and McDonalds, subway and shop within petrol station within walking distance. Need to book for restaurant tho at busy times. 」

「There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. 」

「It’s a lovely hotel. As it is a very old building it doesn’t look much from the outside but inside it was nice. It could do with a bit of a makeover. I can only speak for the room I was in. Maybe new curtains and some up to date furniture. Other than that it was very clean. All staff that I seen were lovely. I did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food. Overall I had a good experience.」
