"Fantastic hotel! Highly recommend. It’s ina great old school neighbourhood of Beijing close to attractions. Much better than an isolated high rise hotel. Walking around the hotel was great to watch local life and eat with locals. The hotel itself is very cosy, in a good way. Clean, comfortable and modern, in a lovely courtyard setting. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. They have resident cats, which my kids adored. The rate for the hotel is also very reasonable. Great for a short stay. It is a bit noisy, so if that’s a big issues, take it into account. However, if you want an affordable, comfortable and friendly hotel stay in a central local neighbourhood, highly highly recommend!!! "

"I went to the wrong hotel and the sister hotel help me to get here, its a little confused to get to the place, taxis leave you in the main avenue and you need to walk 4 to 5 blocks, the are looks kind of rundown but at night looks beautiful "

"Our family recently stayed four nights at the Grand Hyatt Beijing, and overall it turned into a truly memorable experience. We did encounter some issues with the room condition on the day we checked in, which was a bit stressful given our tight schedule during a short stay in Beijing. However, what really stood out was how the hotel handled the situation. The staff went above and beyond to make things right and ensure the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, we would like to thank Eva at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with such care and efficiency. Her attentiveness and warmth made a lasting impression on us. Honestly, nearly every staff member we interacted with reflected that same level of hospitality, and we are very grateful. The location of the hotel is another major highlight. It is extremely convenient—situated above an underground shopping mall with direct access to two metro lines, and within walking distance to major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are also countless dining options nearby, along with easy access to shopping areas. The hotel itself is well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities, which were perfect for families. Breakfast was also a standout—an impressive selection with excellent quality that made for a great start to each day. Despite the initial hiccup, the exceptional service truly made all the difference. "

"The entire property seemed clean, well-maintained. It was difficult to find the hutong (alley) because the sign bearing the hutong's name was on the western side of the hutong wall, facing east, and I walked from the west looking for it. =)"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Having one king bed and one queen bed made it perfect for our family of four with two older kids. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. During our stay, my wife developed a blister after visiting the Great Wall, and the staff kindly provided alcohol-soaked cotton tips—such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. The laundry service was also very convenient. It made managing our clothes effortless, as they handled the washing, drying, and delivered everything right back to our room. The location is another big plus. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Nanlishi Lu subway station, which makes it very easy to get around and access popular sightseeing and historical attractions. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent service. Highly recommended!"
