「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. 「Loved every second of this venue! The hosts were accommodating and so welcoming and lovely, it was like staying at home! We loved all the offers they had and wished we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the yoga and other amenities! 「Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. 」

「Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. 」

「In an attempt to avoid travelling in the heat, we arrived very early. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to provide drinks. We decided to stay for lunch and were not disappointed with the food. Steaks being cooked to perfection, with desserts of sticky toffee pudding and brownie being to die for! When we did get to go to our room, we found it more than adequate, very clean and tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge to store our own goodies. There was ample wardrobe space...

「My partner and I came here for our 4 year anniversary with our Westie, Stanley. Overall, we cannot fault the place! The room we had was lovely and spacious, the food was beautiful and the staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful, especially to our Stanley. Stanley has thoroughly enjoyed his stay and has been spoilt rotten by the staff! We cannot thank you all enough for how welcome and comfortable you made us feel! We've already rebooked for my birthday in December 😊」
