「We had a wonderful one night stay at the Brass Lantern. Don greeted me when I arrived and showed me the common areas before showing me to our room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The common areas in the living rooms and game room were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a short walk to the village center in Stowe and the recreational trail and about a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes. The next time we visit Stowe we will definitely stay here.」

Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. 「My son and I travelled for a week through New England hiking, and none of the hotels we stayed in showed as much hospitality as the owners of the Smuggler's Notch Inn. Pat welcomed us when we arrived, gave us info on where we could get dinner (the attached Village Tavern was great), and our bedroom with attached bathroom was charming and comfortable. The icing on the cake was a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast by Pat's husband before we set off to hike Mount Mansfield. I would book there...
