"This was the best stay ever! This property is fantastic! It has a very tasty restaurant, caring staff, a nice pool, and its location in Tikal is amazing! One of my favorite things about this hotel was how the wildlife was right outside your room! I saw birds, monkeys, and pizotes. This hotels location was perfect to enjoy the parks- I booked a sunset tour with the hotel which was also AMAZING! This hotel was an entire experience in itself and I am so happy I was able to stay here."

"Hice mi reserva y pago por medio de la pagina. Cuando llegue al hotel, me indicaron que no trabajaban con niguna pagina se hoteles y que no tenian mi reserva. Al contactarme con Hotels.com para conentarle el caso me indican que no se pudieron contactar con el establecimiento por lo que no me podian hacer un reembolso. He usado muchas veces Hotels.com y es la primera vez que me pasa esto, lamentablemente una lección de $100 :("

"I enjoyed my stay and I would stay again. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is they had construction going on during the day in a room, and the noise was pretty bad. I don’t suppose there’s anything they can do about it, but I didn’t appreciate it. The staff are all really nice and very helpful. The room I had was spacious and overlooked the water. They also had a great pool to relax in. The complimentary breakfast was very mediocre. I would skip it and just have some coffee and maybe some fruit, and relax on the waterfront terrace before it gets very hot (the heat kicks in around 9:00) or drinks in the evenings after the sun goes down, there’s a very good coffee spot right across from the hotel, the hotel is very very close to the airport and just two blocks to the causeway that takes you to the island, and you can walk everywhere. You can book your tour of Tikal right from the reception desk. The staff are very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place"

"Absolutely would stay here again. Loved it, beautiful, has heart, feels luxurious and can cater to Western tastes but also very low key and authentically Guatemalan. Lake is incredible. People were wonderful. Frogs and monkeys were adorable. Stay here!"
