「Booked here as a stopover on the way to Thoresby hall from Scotland as it was only a short drive off the motorway. We booked bed and breakfast at a very good price and we also had an evening meal. Both meals were great and the room even had an air con unit which was fantastic in the hot weather. The place was great value for money and we will certainly be back, can't thank the staff enough who were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well done and we hope to be back soon.」

「Overall a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the front garden area. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. We also appreciated the USB ports & other amenities. Comfortable armchairs & a comfotable bed, although the bedding was a little excessive for the hot weather - easy to remove the top layer though. The lovely bathroom was also a good size with a seperate bath & shower. Our only frustration was the early morning traffic noise - we had to open...

「This hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location! The breakfast room/restaurant room is absolutely stunning!! The bedrooms are beautiful too, with a great en-suite and comfortable bed. The only things that let it down are the really bad wi-fi (not great when you’re trying to look up routes for exploring the area or restaurants to go to) and no mini fridge in the room (mainly for medication that needs to be refrigerated). If those could be fixed this place would be perfect!!!」
