「Newer hotel, decorated nicely. Upstairs restaurant not open on a Wednesday, which would have been convenient and weather was great to sit outside on balcony. "Breakfast availability" was confusing. Staff not informative and appeared more involved in conversations with each other than asking if there was anything I needed. 」

「The staff was wonderful! Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful all the way to the general manager. The room was lovely, elegant and quiet. We stayed there to catch the train back to Penn Station and it was perfect. The hotel is an old candle factory, hence the name “The Wick” and the decor pays homage to that fact. If you are looking for a quiet, lovely hotel this is the place. Others have mentioned the lack of a view, but the hotel itself makes up for that!」

「Sarah checked us in when my wife and I arrived. She was great! Helped us get settled in our room and gave us tips about the area, etc. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely being coming back!」

「We spent a long weekend, looking at the leaves in the Catskills. Our stay at the Crystal Brook Resort & Mountain Brauhaus was wonderful. While the accomodations were retro, it was a clean and comfortable room. The staff, family actually, were amazing, friendly and cheerful. The meals, breakfasts and dinner were hardy, and delicious. (The leaves were also right at peak, so that is a plus.)」
