Marrakech is a major city in the northwest African nation of Morocco. It is the fourth largest city in the country after Casablanca, Rabat and Fes, and is the capital of the mid-southwestern region of Marrakesh-Tensift-El Haouz. Marrakesh is possibly the most important of Morocco's four former imperial cities (cities that were built by Moroccan Berber empires). The red walls of the city have given the city the nickname of the "Red City". Marrakesh grew rapidly and established itself as a cultural, religious, and trading centre for the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa; Jemaa el-Fnaa is the busiest square in Africa.

「Spent 3 nights here as a solo female traveller and was incredibly happy with my choice. Location is ideal, right by the airport bus stop and very close to a street with lots of good, affordable restaurant choices. The owner/manager and all staff were incredibly attentive and the dorm layout and cleanliness some of the best I've experienced. Some reviews said they struggled to find it but if you're following Google maps it's very accurate!」

「We stayed there for three nights with our 12yers old dauther and even she liked it and was happy there. When we arriwed and they found that our booked room is already occupied, they gave as four room roof apartment with doors directly to 100m2 terrace with mountain wiew. When we wanted meals during the day we just told them time for our lunch or dinner. Meals were delicious,not cheap but for fair money.」
