「Great hotel, would stay again and reccomend to others Thankyou」

「The hotel is easy to find and close to York famous city walls. The room is not too big but enough for single traveller. Reception lady is kind and offering help with my big luggage upstair. 」

「Staff were really friendly and helpful. We chose sirloin steak and chips was beautifully cooked 😊. Would definitely stay again if in the area」

「The bed is too soft which we felt backpain all day. We have tried both breakfast and dinner inside the hotel, but the taste is not good as their description. Maybe it's not suitable for us only. 」

「This hotel was vey horrible. The bed and quilt and bed are full of stain. The room, corridor and carpet are very dirty, they are full of sour smell (like vomit after drunk), the heater and exhaust fan are dusty, and a lot of louse and ants. 100% not recommend!!!!」

「酒店很有特色，穿过酒店的bar到达lodge所在的小庭院。庭院还可以通到二楼露台及室内早餐所在的餐厅。 房间内暖气打开很快暖和起来，卫生间和淋雨分开，单独地暖。房间大小适中，展开一个大箱子比还不影响正常活动。 早餐很好，稍微有点慢，可能因为我们习惯了着急。」

「A lovely hotel right in the middle of the pretty market town of Helmsley so very convenient for shops, bars and restaurants and close to the castle. Breakfast excellent and having dined in ths restaurant in the evening also some good food choices, if not necessarily the cheapest. The room was of a very high standard, very comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. 」

「De auto kon gratis voor het Hotel geparkeerd worden, maar er is ook een aparte parkeerplaats voor hotelgasten. In het historische pand had ik een wat gedateerde kamer, maar dit was in lijn met de prijs. Ontbijtzaal en café zijn gezellig en bij mooi weer is het lekker buiten op de binnenplaats waar ook locals iets komen drinken. Rustig Engels dorpje.」

「What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...
