"Modern clean room with necessary amenities. Great bed and pillows. Only 1 towel pp. 1 coffee and tea pp. Great pool. Some restaurants and bars and convenience store nearby. 3.5km to jonker. Had to provide Rm100 cash as security deposit and they check the room before they return it."

"The property and service exceeded my expectations. The only shock and disappointment was how a hotel could get permission to gut the interiors of several historic, heritage buildings in a conservation zone in a city with Unesco world heritage site status. Very sad."

"Just keep in mind about your guest when they check in and when they ask for a room extended time to honor it till the guest leave the room. Another thing is to not disturb a guest till it’s time to check out. Be mindful. Other then that everything else was wonderful. The restaurant has a lot of variety and has reasonable pricing. Room are excellently bright and fresh with a balcony view. I am delighted and hope it will always be like this. Thank you"

"Very helpful staff Excellent wifi Huge (too big?) room for 1 person I didn’t try the breakfast or pool so no comments about them. I had a room at the back on a high floor & traffic noise was really loud during the day but thankfully it went to almost 0 after dark so I slept ok. Not a lot of places of interest close by but there were good eating places across the road then go to the left then first right towards the river The keycards were frustrating as numerous times I had to get them "recharged" as they stopped working. I'll stay again for sure if I ever go back to Melaka"

"One of the worst hotel experience I've ever had. upon arriving to the hotel I was given the wrong room (booked a double and was given a single room). When checking with the reception I was told the hotel was fully booked and they don't have any double rooms available. I contacted Hotels.com customer support and they were not able to reach the hotel to sort the room problem. The room was clean but very small with a small single bed and a shower that is guaranteed to flood the bathroom every time you use it. Also, the room was on the ground floor near the lifts which meant I was constantly hearing the noises and dings from the lifts and the people using them. Breakfast and the room service dinner were ok. Furthermore, when I was checking out I was told I had to pay for the room again as the receptionist claimed they haven't received the payment details from Hotels.com. Again, Hotels.com CS couldn't reach the hotel to sort this out and I had to pay again and request a refund for the original payment which luckily Hotels.com got sorted."

"A well located hotel just off Jonker street so there is easy transport access. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms and public areas are well maintained and clean. The only disavantage is that there no cafes or local eateries within walking distance"
