Easy access hotel

Location was very convenient for trains and buses. Quite lively area, right in the middle of shops, bars, cafes and eateries. Room size good for a one person stay. AC works well if it's too hot or lively to open the window. Great to find a non-smoking hotel. Wonderful staff.

This Hotel is not new, but it is well maintained and cleaned. However, the bathroom smelled a bit sweaty. Also, black mold was seen in some places. I did not notice it when using the toilet or sink, but when using the shower, it was bothersome. It was just barely tolerable.

I had a problem on a key of my house. I live in Machida. I couldn't enter my house for 5 days. Shamefully, I had to commute from the hotel to my home every day for five days to unlock it. As a Machida resident, I had never dreamed of staying in a Machida hotel. However, when I looked for a hotel and stayed there, I was surprised to find that it was very close to the Machida station and that I could stay there for only about 5,000 yen. Well, I thought it was OK to use the hotel for a change of pace once in a while. It was very comfortable.

Hotel is an older property that is renovated. Room I had was spotless & was maintained that way the whole stay. Front Desk is manned 24 hours to assist you though check in closes at 23:30 hrs unless pre arranged. I found all the staff so professional & friendly. Location is so convenient to train& buses. Shopping, restaurants, cafes & bars. Will be happy to return to Hotel Shinjukuya.

I planned to stay 6 nights this time, but I couldn't get a room on Saturday, so I planned to stay 3 nights, 1 night at another hotel, and 2 nights. When I arrived and explained the situation to the front desk, they allowed me to stay 1 night on Saturday.　I am grateful that they allowed me to stay 1 night on Saturday.

I couldn't find 3 pins Plug in the room in Japan and I found 1 Place 3 pins plug which was refrigerator. I took a refrigerator plug and I put my PC on.

Shinjukuya location is minutes walk from both JR & Odakyu train stations. Machida Bus centre also very close by, making travel very convenient. The Front desk staff are very helpful & polite. Desk is manned 24hrs, though check in normally closes at 23:30hrs. It is on the 5th Floor, sign at the lift indicates. Rooms are maintained & cleaned extremely well. For extended stays room is cleaned every second day. The hotel is an older building, though has been renovated. Is a great option if you want a location outside of Tokyo central. It is still easily accessible from Machida to Shinjuku. Hotel is easily located via Google Maps, signage is displayed on both adjacent streets in English. Some have commented it is difficult to locate in the past online. It suited my travel requirements having completed many short trips away during my stay. Will stay here again.

町田を訪れる事自体が初めてで、複数名の友人と共に駅近の施設であるこちらのホテルを初めて利用しました。 本当に駅から程近いアクセスの良い場所にあり、またスタッフさんの御対応や宿泊の際のご説明は終始笑顔の気持ちよいものでした。 個人的なことながらチェックアウトをしたあと駅で紛失物に気付いたのですが、客室内に忘れ物があった事を迅速に電話連絡くださって、とても感謝しています。 お部屋も清潔に保たれていましたし、よく眠れました。町田にうかがうことがあれば是非また利用させていただこうと思っています。

スタッフの方の対応は良かったですし、館内は清潔でしたが、ドライヤーが壊れていて使えなかったのと、ドアの鍵を開けた後に鍵の抜き方がわからず苦労しました。駅から近いですし、朝ごはんは近くの吉野家かDOUTORで500円で食べられるチケットを買えたので、泊まることだけの目的なら問題なしです。
