「Please note that this review is for the Hotel Solar do Bom Jesus in Santa Cruz - I was asked to move to this hotel when Hotel Amparo requested that I move to their sister hotel due to short-notice issues with the hotel. This was fine for me and it was handled very well by both hotels.」

「This place was amazing. I will be back and that's a fact. The negatives that people talk of should be taken like a pinch of salt. Yes there is a few little improvements here and there but on the whole the food was amazing the place was lovely and it's just a lovely place」

「Sehr schönes und idyllisches Hotel! Besonders die Pfaue, die um das Hotel herumgelaufen sind, haben uns den Morgen beim Frühstück versüßt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig und sehr lecker, und auch die Servicekräfte waren stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nach einer langen Wanderung war der Wellnessbereich perfekt zum Entspannen und Ausklingen des Tages. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir konnten den Zimmernachbarn schnarchen hören, als würde er direkt neben uns liegen.」

「Tolle Terrassen-Pool mit Aussicht über Funchal. Leider war das Wasser etwas kühl. Gratis Wasser auf dem Zimmer und genügend gratis Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage. 」
