「We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. 「If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. 「Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby. If we were to return to the area we would come back here. 」
