"Overall very nice hotel!"

"Overall a great stay with our family (2 kids and 2 adults). The pool/hot tub were a highlight for the kids and the breakfast was great! Pretty disappointed with the "arcade" though since it was mostly just claw machines and no traditional arcade games. Other than the 5 claw games, there was another gimmicky "cut the rope to win a prize" game and air hockey. One of the adults used the exercise room and thought it was nice and clean with a good variety of equipment."

"Lamplighter Bed and Breakfast is a clean and cozy b&b in downtown Ludington. My husband and I stayed there for one night prior to our departure on the S. S. Badger. We were welcomed upon arrival and given a brief tour and needed information regarding our stay. Restaurant recommendations were given and were spot on. After dinner we came back and relaxed in the common area with a glass of wine. Early the next morning we were delighted to experience an absolutely delicious breakfast!!! Such a nice treat before our trip. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard and gazebo due to the weather, but it’s lovely. We would definitely book again. "

However, for lighter eaters like myself, it would be great if they offered a continental breakfast option alongside the multi-course gourmet spread. Overall, the Cartier Mansion is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique, history-filled getaway with outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again. "
