We turned up at this place to find nobody was there to greet us , the door was locked and no explanation about parking inside Lucas’s city walls. Owner finally turned up after we called, accommodation disappointing, would suggest it’s more of a hostel stay . We decided to book elsewhere it was not for us.

Great location in the historic center of Lucca, plenty of eating options and supermarkets nearby. Room was very large which was great, was clean enough and had Aircon (which leaked in the bathroom though!). Check in was easy but there was no one at the desk the entire time of our stay (we called the owner (?) and he had the room maintenance staff let us in). It was also quite difficult to park due to the time we arrived and ended up parking outside the city walls, if parking recommend arriving first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening to avoid day trippers during the peak season. Overall would recommend due to great location and size, but expect a no frills experience.

Fantastic position, excellent host.

Best position and easy to locate. Lucca is such a beautiful place to visit and this accommodation is right in the heart of the town. Clean and comfortable. As clearly stated in the detail you walk up 2 flights of stairs. The host (Mare) was so helpful, kind, thoughtful and available she made my stay perfect. I highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return.

Mon séjour s'est très bien passé Claudio le gérant de l'établissement à été très accueillant et m'a donné de bons plans de la ville où manger bon et pas trop cher etc. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et il y'a toutes les commodités autour à faire à pied.j'y retournerai volontier

excellent location. Information misleading: it is a second floor, but first you have to haul up (80 yrs. of age) your suitcases 4 floors, so it is on the 6th. There is no breakfast available. We had to pay the tourist tax on leaving, contrary to what is printed on reservation confirmation. The terrace is not joining the room. but again 1 floor up. The room is ok for 2 small people with backpacks. 2 older people

Good position in Lucca but some oddities

It was not clear from Expeia that I needed to give the b&b keeper an exact time of arrival - which of course coming from abroad is difficult - and so I arrived to a large closed door. By chance, a couple arrived who could ring the keeper and a helpful man then came to check me in. The room was not very clean and there was no soap, toilet roll, shampoo. It was much improved the next day. But there was no breakfast. The place was well positioned in the town, and was ok to stay in, but it was much more basic than in the information. Lucca is lovely and there is a great restaurant nearby - Paris Bistrot.

Excellently located in the middle of Lucca.

A short walk to all of the sights and shopping which Lucca has to offer. Air conditioned room and a filling breakfast just two of the things which make this place a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Very friendly host who pointed us in the right direction for food and things to do. It's a lively area so do bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. All in all I would recommend this place to friends.

Nice B&B in the centre of Lucca

We enjoyed our stay at Camera con vista B&B. The room was big and comorftable. The breakfast was good. There was a mix up with the checkin location so be sure to confirm in advance. Despite that the service was good and friendly.

The hostess for this hotel was delightful and very accommodating, looking out for our best interest with our travel needs, especially car parking to avoid ticket. Trying to accommodate booking tours or info we needed going forward. Well located, nice breakfast.

Small simple B & B in central Lucca. Good location. I was a solo traveller and it suited me for a short stay. Room was fine - quite large and bed comfy. Breakfast is 5 euro and was fine for me. The lady who runs the place is really friendly and helpful.

Lucca, cité toscane méconnue mais d'intérêt

2 nuits en plein centre de cette cité Toscane magnifique. A noter les remparts qui font plus de 3km et que l'on peut faire à vélo, en footing ou tout simplement en marchant.

Great location but wouldn't be staying there again

Mara, who runs this B&B was extremely helpful. However, confusion with the information provided which stated we had to register at a different B&B. We found our way to where we were directed only to be told that we should go directly to the other B &B. Not fun when you don't know the area and you are pulling your suitcases! Breakfast was indicated as being included. There were some cookies out and only on day 2 did I learn how to use the coffee machine. This B& B has a problem in that someone is onsite sporadically. So no one is around- for example in the morning to tell you where the milk is for your coffee or where to get water for the kettle. Our room was lovely. The bathroom smelt a bit like a sewer. Although the location was great, I would not recommend this B &B and we will not stay there again.

très bon bed and breakfast, excellent accueil, très très bien situé au centre de Lucca, nous avions une chambre donnant sur une cour intérieure donc pas beaucoup de bruit. facile d'accès depuis l'arrêt de bus. Literie et chambre confortable. salle de petit déjeuner très agréable et la personne qui nous reçoit est adorable, en plus la salle est à disposition tout le temps si on souhaite prendre dans la journée un café ou manger à une des tables. seul bémol le fait d'avoir la chambre vue sur cour donne peu de lumière et en même temps pour la nuit les rideaux ne sont pas assez occultant et un étage sans ascenseur pour la chambre et un autre étage pour le petit déjeuner donc ne convient pas aux personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher. dans l'ensemble très bon rapport qualité prix
