"We stayed here because it was a 40 minute drive to Carlsbad and it had a kitchen. Once we arrived we realized that this place is generally used to those working in the nearby oil fields. The room we were in would have been perfect for one person. It was very tiny for my husband and I and our son. ..."

"The pool area is a little rundown and could use some safer walkways (the downhill slope between the two areas was always wet and very slippery...even a mat placed there could probably fix it). Wish the other slide was open and that the patio chairs got cleaned better."
