「We spent 2 nights here in suite C as a home base for our Hatfield and McCoy tour. We weren't expecting anything other than an inexpensive place to sleep but boy were we blown away when we got there! First off, Ric (the owner) is a great host - very friendly and kept us informed, in great detail, about directions, parking and entry instructions. 「The thick older walls of this hotel made for a quiet room. The shower had excellent water pressure. There was lots to choose from for breakfast. After the renovations are complete this should be a really nice place to stay.」

「Loved the outside sitting area with fire and tables Only thing that could be better is in the bathroom since the toilets are low, they could use a bar on the wall to assist in getting up especially for older people. 」

「The staff was great. Both times I’ve stayed here though I’ve noticed the doors are very difficult to close. My door this time could be open without even using the room key when I first checked in. You have to use some muscle to get it to latch. 」
