A hidden gem! Such a great location, very clean and J was a phenomenal host! We stayed in one of the units that has not been renovated and it was still very nice. We loved being right on the strand and so close to the center of everything Hermosa has to offer! We had such a great stay and will for sure be back!

Property was great. The manager was very helpful with checking in and telling me the parking details. They give you a st parking pass and you can park within a couple of blocks. 200 yards from Hermosa pier and a dozen fun restaurants. Very clean and right on the beach.

Incredible customer service on the phone when I booked the room, as that service continued during my stay up until my checking out. The friendly staff, clean room and phenomenal location add to the reason I will stay there the next time I visit South Bay. Plus the history of this location makes it even more special - over 100 years old!

It was fantastic to be right on The Strand! Only major drawback is lack of parking. My medium-sized room was nearly perfect! Only drawback was the small square shower with shower curtains for a shallow-panned shower made for a fairly wet floor. But I loved the historic feel and like I was in a house rather than a hotel. I also liked having the kitchenette.
