Hotels need detailed cleaning. ceiling was not clean nor was the mirror. In a Corona filled time. Extra effort. Recommended.

First time in Canoga Park

First time ever, but not so good, there was no hot water in the sinks, only in the shower, wooden floors were not too appealing (Carpet would have been better). The staff was great and the front desk, but the room was too noisy, it felt like there was no insulation and stair case outside was too loud and every step outside could be felt and heard inside the room. May the location of the Room # 116 was not the best. We came from San Jose, and had a one night stay at super 8, we will be coming to Canoga Park regularly for the rest of the year due to an event.

The most uncomfortable check in I have ever experienced. The gentleman checking us in would have rather have been anywhere else but there. After that it was a decent stay. Nice clean rooms.

You need to give me more vouchers

Crazy people, poison gas in the rooms, the crazy people waiting for me to leave when I was attacked with poison gas to access original federal court documents in my room expected me to probably die, I survived but left with extreme chest pain and back pain, still suffering!

Look elsewhere

First of all, we knew this wasn't going to be a "nice" hotel despite to price point (I guess that's LA on a Saturday night). There aren't a lot of economy choices in the area and we literally needed a place to crash after a nearby show so we went for it. Overall it was a crappy decision. The bed had a blanket with awful stains between 2 scratch sheets - that's it. The desk guy was so rude I didn't even try to get additional bedding late at night so we slept with no blanket. Again - didn't expect the Ritz, just a basic level of service and cleanliness at the price point. It was one of those "at least the car didn't get broken into" choices. If you have the option, look elsewhere.

Not recommended Overpriced! The room smelt bad.breakfast was bagels and bread in the fron foyer! The shower clogged up the bath tub - yuk! When we arrived the host was creepy and unwelcoming.

This place had a lack of hot water. The room was nice & clean with flooring instead of carpet, which I enjoyed. However.. I like HOT showers & didnt get one until the 3rd night! Tried a change of rooms but 2 others had the same issue, so not an isolated problem. Suspect new owners are trying to operate on the cheap, they need to fix this quick or you should stop listing them for bookings altogether.

Decent no frills motel for the price

Decent no frills motel. Affordable. Clean. Comfy beds and bedding. Spacious room. Tile flooring throughout. Older style motel AC ... the temps were in the 90s during our 3-day stay, and the AC could not cool the room down until night. They should not advertise as a free breakfast, as there was only coffee. There was never any actual food there when we went. It seemed like there were always problems at the front office ... the manager was often yelling at someone. We came for vacation... it’s not very welcoming and comforting to hear yelling and arguments in the front office. Places to eat within walking distance are limited to a sushi bar next door. Nothing in walking distance for breakfast.

Just walking into the office, it was very clean. Our room was exceptionally clean. Nothing fancy at all, but a fairly big room, super clean floors and toilet, etc. Had a small fridge and a coffee maker which we used, and one of the cleaning ladies gladly gave me extra coffee packets. Parts of Canoga Park and Reseda (where we were going to a party) can be kind of sketchy. Although where the Super 8 in Canoga Park isn't the high end of town by any means, there was no call to feel unsafe whatsoever. Unless we were to go to Woodland Hills and pay way more for a room, from all that we checked out, this was by far the best. I'd highly recommend it if you're not a fancy person. As said, very clean and everyone was very nice and accommodating. We'll go back the next time our friend in Reseda has a party.

The owner is the rudest person i have ever encountered. You book online it advises there may be a $50 deposit i get to the venue to check in and the owner wants a $250 deposit. After a few words he lowered it, upon checking out i signed the log to get my deposit back and found that he seems to be profiling people of color and charging all different deposit rates. The room was nice and clean but i not return due to the pure rudeness of the owner.
