「You need to know where the rooms are; on the map, it looks right on the beach, and the rooms have sea views. However, when they say “Côté jardin”, it’s another building, a few doors down and across the street. If you get a room on the second floor, there is no elevator so be aware. 「The room was small but perfectly adequate. Kitchen is OK, good microwave. Plenty of utensils though luckily I am tall as everything was in a high cupboard. Very nice little patio outside and the hotel is a short walk to both a Carrefour supermarket and Gold Beach. Good choice.」

「Lovely boutique hotel at the top of the small town of Arromanches. My favorite spot was the living room bar at night. Just wine, beer and some spirits but with collections of armchairs and board games, it felt like home. Just wonderful. Highly recommend for a simple gown feel with great taste. 」

「Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites. Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did. 」
