Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2 and 3
8/10 Good
"Our room was on the 13th floor, so we didn't get a lot of the airport noise, even though we were next to a airstrip where planes were taking off and landing the whole time. The room was a little smaller than expected, and it was really expensive, but you can't beat the location if you have an early morning flight."
"Quite a wait to check in. The room didn’t have robes and we could have used them to go to the pool as the changing rooms were shut. There were only 2 dry communal rooms available and they seemed angry when we locked the door! Just got there in time to avoid massive queues for breakfast which was yummy. Unfortunately, the room had an internal window which only looked out at a brick wall opposite. Thankfully we didn’t need to be in it for long. The charging usb points on the bedside tables did not work and the hairdryer kept shutting off. The beds were very comfy though. "
"When we arrived to check in the staff were lovely. They explained how the key card system on your phone worked and then escorted us to the building we were staying in, it was raining and the small touch of the umbrella didn't go unnoticed. The room was spacious and clean, we were a family of 4 and had chosen the room with the queen sized bunk beds. We were very impressed and would highly recommend the hotel. The shops and Earls court tube station were a 3 minute walk away. The Natural history museum were in close proximity (about 25 minute walk). "
"The hotel is convenient for overnight stay for a connecting flight the next day however for the price I paid expected the room to be amazing. I was also told that I was upgraded which didn't seem like it... Rooms could use some updating - the carpet was stained and in general if felt dirty.
I would have been fine if I paid 1/2 the price of what I paid. For over $250 a night you would expect a nice hotel room"
