"I loved the location of this property on Wards Road on one of the main drives in Lynchburg and down the street from some of my favorite stores and restaurants. I also was impressed with the series of "Best of Lynchburg" awards this location has received for multiple years straight. Regardless of who was on duty, the staff acknowledged me and greeted me, the overall hotel and halls were quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast had everything I was hoping to enjoy and then some. The next time I am in Lynchburg, this will be my choice."

"Very friendly staff and clean facility. Just gave a 4 for clean because there was a lot of dust in the bathroom near the towel area and other surfaces. It seemed like room was in in use recently and staff forgot the dust the room."

"I got super sick while here and asked for some help to load my car and was ignored and when I tried to explain issues like the ac wasn’t working well. The pool was nice minus the wad Of hair just floating in it. Breakfast was powdered eggs but coffee was really good, the view is amazing."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Timberlake Motel, and can see why so many other guests have given this homey accommodation such glowing reviews. The staff were very courteous and welcoming and the room was quiet and well appointed, with a luxurious bed and linens that made for a very pleasant rest. The Timberlake Motel is also conveniently placed with easy access to the downtown historic district or to some of the other landmark areas of Lynchburg, such as the university or shopping mall. Will stay there again when I'm in the Lynchburg area, and look forward to it."

"We were in town for a track meet. The hotel is cute and close to liberty university. We booked a business suite for more space. The rooms are large and have a washer and dryer in the room. Free breakfast is standard, well prepared and just what we needed to start our day. Nice hotel for a good price. The business suite has a 2 burner kitchen and full sized fridge and dishwasher as well. Worth the price."
