「Super nice B&B in the welsh countryside... as close to a town (Ammanford) as you would want but far enough away to be rural. Rooms (we have stayed there twice in the past month) are really rather nice, showers have plenty of hot water and the hosts, Jane and Nigel, serve a breakfast that keeps you going for the rest of the day」

「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「This was an excellent find. We stayed 1 night in the “attic” room, which met all our needs. The entry instructions and directions to the property were also very clear. An added bonus was the local pub “The Torbay”, which was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. The food was great. The self serve continental breakfast was fine. Liked the quirkiness of the room, would stay again」

「Left each morning before breakfast so nice to be offered a takeaway sausage sandwich, thank you. Got a couple of evening walks and pre-warned about possibility of closed restaurant if quiet but other options not required as lovely and busy. 」

「I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

「Warm welcome from Rob and Sherrie, lovely chilled atmosphere. Room was lovely, had all you could want. Bed comfortable, slept well. Breakfast was delicious, sausage and bacon was truly tasty. Access via track, very deep holes in a couple of places, but this wouldn’t stop us and would recommend, great location for Welsh Botanic Garden. 」
