"I had an excellent stay at MS Vila Nova. The hotel is clean, well maintained, quiet, and very comfortable. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Everything felt organised and easy, which made the stay stress-free. The facilities are solid and deliver great value. What truly stands out, however, is the level of service, particularly from Raquel at reception. She operates at an exceptionally high customer service standard. From the first interaction, she was calm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her communication is clear and reassuring, and she has a natural ability to make guests feel comfortable and valued. It is evident that Raquel knows her role inside out. She works with confidence, efficiency, and precision, while maintaining a warm and approachable manner. She anticipates needs, handles requests smoothly, and ensures everything runs seamlessly. Her presence alone elevates the entire guest experience. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel is excellent, but Raquel’s professionalism is what makes it truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return."

"My rating is partially on my stay but more so the staff experience. Background: I have always wanted to visit this property. I am from the West Coast in California and it is a long journey to get there upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is everything that I wanted in terms of a retreat and a place to really have a sense of peace. Unfortunately, there were two events that happened in rapid succession and I was not happy or enthused at all. Rather than go into the details of what transpired, I would like to go more in depth into their response. We all make mistakes, however, what I found very refreshing was that one, they not only owned up to both incidents, but two, they made every conceivable effort to atone for them. That level of honesty and urgency is ultimately why I would visit this resort again. That level of dignity and respect is very much appreciated and it was because of that that I was able to enjoy the rest of my time there."
