"The stay was pleasant except for the check-in process. I was given plenty of grief, because my wife made the reservation, but I arrived with my son. We flew there from Southern California and had to drive in your horrible Bay Area traffic for over an hour to reach your establishment. You should change the policy about which spouse's name is on the reservation. I had to call my wife to get verbal permission for you guys, like I was a teenager. How embarrassing!"

"The staff were very helpful, courteous and went out of their way to accommodate my requests. The hotel is very conveniently located and has a mall and shopping within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. "

"The lobby has a friendly and helpful vibe yet it works like a well oiled machine. Communications were at a high level and things went well so many times. Extended Stay caters to a diverse crowd of travelers way better than the others. I enjoyed the interaction and my needs were met and exceeded by the staff at this Pleasant Hill / Concord / Walnut Creek location."

"Had to travel to Oakland for a short notice job interview. Booked Jack London Inn due to having a reasonable price and its distance from the job interview site. Hotel's location is convenient to many nearby tourist attractions and restaurants. Alameda island only a 10 minute walk/ferry ride away. Room itself was decent and reservation included breakfast. Check-in was smooth and front desk clerk was kind enough to loan me a pen for my job interview. Next time I'm in Oakland, will definitely hit this place up."
