「We did have a good stay but on arrival in our room, we found clothes drying, we guess from the previous occupant, which then made us question if the room had been fully cleaned. We were assured it was but we had doubts: 1. The floor in the bathroom looked like it had never met a mop, 2. The carpet across the room was in terrible condition, it looked like bleach had been used to clean it and there were red spots, we did point this out but we're told carpets were being changed in a couple of...

「Absolutely beautiful house in a tranquil setting. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Fab hosts who were always on hand and checked if we were ok or needed anything. 」

「Room was the let down. Bed sheets were rough, supplied desk fan was useless. I left at 6 am to travel back to get my own fan. No air con so room was so hot at night. To much junk on bed. By the time extra cushions were taken off. Not much room to move about in the room. Bathroom ok. Toilet quite close to wall. ROOM 315. not a pleasant stay. Staff were helpful. 「The overall house was clean and there were ample amenities. The owner was pleasant and greeted the guest, explaining the facilities adequately however, there were a number of issues: There were no towels provided (contrary to what was stated on the booking), there was no breakfast provided (contrary to what was stated on the booking), the free wi-fi was unusable and there were mouldy banana's in the cupboard! Not great sadly.」

This time, the room I was first given had a collapsed wardrobe rail, and the second room had a loose bathroom hot tap, a very noisy bathroom fan, and the room’s waste bin was unusable. Restaurant food was OK, but the portion of fish in the fish & chips was surprisingly small, so it was poor value for money.
