「What a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. Our room had a view of the water. We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. It’s obvious that a lot of careful thought has been put into making this B&B a wonderful place. 」

「The room was the best we had on our trip. It had shampoo, conditioner, soap in both the sink area and the shower. There was cold water and milk in the refrigerator and coffee/ tea. There was also a heated towel rack and great big towels. They also provided a shower cap. It was large enough that you could both move around the room. Highly recommend」

「The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean.」

「The room and facilities are old looking and small. Especially for the bathroom. But the beds are clean and tidy and provide car parking. 」

「The room was clean. The bathroom has been renovated with good shower pressure. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable. Note that there is no elevator on the premises - not a big deal for us but that may not be the case for everyone. Lastly, the breakfast is overpriced. I would probably go out if I were to return. At 15 pounds each, that converts to just under $30 can. Even in overpriced Toronto, that’s expensive.」

「We are now back at home after our trip. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the Whisky Vaults but the most positive thing was that the bed was comfortable. 1. Staying for 2 days but the room was not serviced. 2. Breakfast, in a brown bag appeared on the first day only. 3. Thanks to Connor, who took an item of luggage upstairs. There was no lift and the back stairs were a challenge to my wife who is waiting for an ankle operation. 4. I would not be in a hurry to recommend the Whisky...

「The hotel is functional, a bit dated looking from the outside, better inside but the shower in our room was not fit for purpose. Decent food but the menu is very limited. Parking is virtually non existent but the street parking is free after 6pm until 9am.」

「The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. 」
