「This is a beautiful 18th century mansion where you feel like you’re staying in the museum yet comfortable enough to wanna stay forever. Dan and his wife greet you at the door. They are so nice. They make a breakfast in the morning that is to die for. This place comes highly recommended and I can’t wait to go back.」

「It is a great location to tour the town and the battlefields, for sure. The property has reasonable amenities, including a friendly lady who shows you how to use their Waffle machine. My primary issue was that the walls are paper thin and we could hear people on both sides of our room speaking like they were in our room. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done about that without a major re-fit.」

「South Carolina - very nice room, well maintained and clean with a 3rd floor view of the Main Street. Note that all rooms require steps to 2nd & 3rd floor. Good location, close to everything. Owners need to review definition of “B&B”. We have never stayed at a B&B before that charged extra for breakfast. We arrived at 5pm, left at 10 am; never met any employee or owner. Strange!」

「Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.」

「The motel was really dated. Didn’t feel like it was very clean as the sinks were rusty, shower & toilet were not much better. Wouldn’t have stayed here if I hadn’t prepaid. Lesson learned! The breakfast was decent but I would’ve paid for breakfast for a more updated stay. Wouldn’t recommend!」

They have a beautiful display of live plants throughout the lobby providing a lovely welcoming feeling. I appreciated their large display of menus of nearby restaurants. If I visit Gettysburg again I will be using this location again.」

A short ride downtown and everything Gettysburg has to offer is right there for you. We definitely recommend to anyone visiting Gettysburg, and we would definitely return as guests.」

「Vending machines do not work. Took our money. Someones old bra in the front of the build. Cars with open hoods , sketchy long term residents there. Needed some extra towels. Had to go down to the desk to get them. Guy asked my wife to bring down dirty. WTH.」
