"Comfortable rooms, with a good choice for Breakfast"

"The oven doesn't work, there is no parking space for twin room even when when the parking spaces were free. I could hear the cars the all nights and I couldn't sleep. Some people smoked weed inside the property. Inside the twin room someone definitely smoked cigarettes. I wouldn't recommend this guest house to anyone."

"Staff very welcoming, small hotel, historical premises so lay out not symmetrical but our room was comfortable and quiet. Food excellent, definitely need to reserve dinner as the restaurant is very popular with a good varied menu. Breakfast equally varied and well presented. Location very central, cathedral and castle both close. Thank you!"

"What was previously a slightly shabby hotel has been renovated to a very high standard. Bedrooms and public rooms are excellent and very good value overnight stay."

"A sign of the times I suppose, no biscuits in the room, receptionist or manageress, totally unwelcomeing, didn't seem to want to be there. Last negative, my wife likes her bacon well done, but the breakfast had cremated bacon. Otherwise: situated close to Lincoln, other members of staff were really nice. Having visited a number of times, the food is American diner style. On the whole, we wouldn' go back unless things changed for the better or the price undercut everywhere else."
