Cheap and cheerful!

Cheap and cheerful with friendly staff. Beds were super comfy and you get what you pay for. Would definitely use again!

Budget hotel with secure parking.

Great location just short walk into Lille center with nice bars and places to eat outside the hotel. Typical basic Ibis Budget hotel, friendly staff. Only negative point was the single bed pillow which was not very good, you need at least two decent pillows. Otherwise good sleep and good value.

Really convenient and walkable for both Eurostar and the old town, with free luggage storage, which meant we could easily explore Lille before our train in the afternoon. Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. As expected for a budget hotel it is basic, and rooms got very hot with no air conditioning.

The hotel is super central, with everything within a 5min walk. Restaurant street right around the corner with everything from crepes to indian food. And they allow dogs here, that was great! But at night the prostitutes stand right in front of the hotel, and there is a lot of fighting and shouting. It's nearly impossible to sleep through the night becouse there is no aircondition, so the window has to be open.

It met my expectations. It was clean and tidy. The room was small but it was manageable. The choose of lighting was a little bad but nothing too serious. The only bad thing was curtain on the window. It was a type- of a scroll curtain and it did not let me choose length.

Check-in was efficient and quick, staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke fantastic English (thankyou). on site underground parking was a reasonable cost per night. 1st floor street facing room - size and content as expected. Hotel and room was clean and use of a room door access code as opposed to a key/card was a nice feature. Lack of Aircon would be an issue in the summer.street / traffic noisy with window open. Great location. Room cost reasonable for the short notice booking

Dirty, Breakfast a joke ham cut into 30mm strips, no air con had to leave window closed due to noise, we had a room for 3 just about big enough for,1 no where to put clothes. Could go on .

Perfect for a single person or a couple, for more than that the room is too small. But is doable if you don’t have any more options. Breakfast is very good for the price. 10 min walking to the old town. So is in a great position.

Pillows are like paper that I have to put a backpack underneath to have volume and neck support. Room is very small for 3 people - space just enough for sleeping. You have to go out to have some airy space. Breakfast is ok.

The rooms were very clean but very basic. It would have been good to have had 2 extra` pillows and a rack for putting suitcase on. There were also mosquitos in the room despite it being on the top floor (obviously high altitude mosquitos)

The room smell like cigarettes and it lasted for too long! It’s WAY too noisy and the window could just open 5cm and NO AC.

05/12/25 Arrive at the hotel and greeted by two very rude reception staff. We prepaid for our parking ahead of our arrival so the first thing we enquired about was getting parked for the weekend. Immediately get told there is no parking, it’s full! After explaining we had prepaid we get told where the carpark is and that the gate might open. Carpark was probably half full and certainly not anywhere near full. Upon check in they had us down for just one room and not the two we booked. Had to argue and show our booking to prove we pre-booked two rooms. Because of this mistake on their part we were placed in what felt like emergency spare rooms on the ground floor. The door to one room didn’t work and the room could only be accessed via the other room, the same room with the in-operational door also the window could not be opened!! Having not long fallen asleep, 01:30am Saturday morning the fire alarm is triggered! Hotel reception is now full of guests. Receptionist with a beard and tied back hair simply assumed someone was smoking in the room and without proper checks simply disabled the alarm!!! Didn’t even go upstairs to check!! No evacuation, no roll call of guests, nothing!! This “false” alarm caused my children such distress and they just could not get back to sleep, 03:00am we got to sleep. To top off our weekend i get an email from the parking company stating the cameras did not not detect us leaving the carpark and that i had over stayed past my 11:00am departure.

Poor budget hotel for what you have too pay.

Booked because of parking option but desolately this was full at arrival. So dont book it for parking. Shower was dirty. Romm rather smelly.. Room was very hot without airco option, not recommended on hot days. Breakfast very poor: no fresh coffee or orange juice (powder), rather dirty. Staff rather limited service. We padi way too much for this budget hotel, a hostel would have given better quality
