Clean tidy rooms but no fan or air con, very hot in the rooms and in the bar. Staff friendly and drinks reasonably priced. Food there is good usually pizza or pasta or a salad. Burgers at lunch too. The staff were very helpful and we always stay here when in France. Good little hotel With nice bar area. Good breakfast very cheap too.

Hostel I'd recommend

Lovely modern hostel, quite far out the way but not a problem if you don't mind a walk. Bed was a little hard but overall the room was comfy and clean.

Hot and stuffy nights sleep on a mild summer night

Great when travelling by car as plenty of parking. Check in staff were great. Had a terrible nights sleep due to how hot and stuffy the room was. You can either choose to have the shutter down for privacy at night or have it up and let air in but then passers by can see you sleeping. Really could do with a curtain on the inside of window.

Eco-minded hotel not far from Lille on the public transport was easy to use just the rooms are very hot in the summer and do not cool down.

Stayed here again 2 times in one week as part of a longer trip, always good friendly staff, clean and tidy bar area although rooms still too hot. They could do with small Fans for the room at least or better ventilation, can’t really have window blinds open much or people can see in. And this doesn’t really cool the room down enough anyway. Nice area outside by the pizza bar plenty of seats and lovely bee hive in the corner which was a nice touch. We always love staying here and will be back again soon.

The hotel offers a basic service-bedrooms are very small, sparse and basic but that is what you are paying for. We stayed 2 nights and the rooms were for sleeping in. The reception staff were friendly and helpful whilst the bar and lounge area is comfortable. The location is out of the city centre but we enjoyed walking in to Lille which took about 45 mins but bus, taxi and metro options are all available. It isn’t the type of hotel I would normally stay at but if you want basic clean accommodation on the outskirts of the city with easy access then I would recommend Eklo Lille.

Over priced basic accommodation

Cannot complain too much as we booked last minute for RWC and so only thing available at short notice. We are a family of five so book a 6 person dorm room. It was basic accommodation, which was ok, but the room had some issues with lights not working. The one in the toilet didn’t work at all and the one in bathroom did not turning off. Other things of note; no towels, no tea or coffee making facilities. Which considering the price is not really on. Overall very pricey for the one night considering the facilities (£378ish with a 10% discount), but it was all very last minute so not much other choice with demand being high because of RWC matches. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
