Très bon séjour à l'hôtel WHY qui est très bien situé en centre ville. Personnel sympathique et accueillant. Je trouve juste que les chambres ont un peu petites.

- Room had no heating only a Dyson hot and cold fan - As room had no heating Bathroom was also cold therefore towels always felt damp and smelt - Balcony was large however the decking was loose and broken. Extremely dangerous - Free mini bar fridge was warmer than the room and contained one can of fizzy orange, one can of fizzy apple and a small bottle of water between two - Road noise was loud as hotel sat on a five way road junction - TV only had all French speaking stations - The curtains were a challenge to close as they went around corners, behind TV and desk and the tracks did not run smoothly The rooms were very tired and needed some money spending on them. On a positive, the hotel was in a good location! We did not complain whilst we was staying there as we had booked a suite for three nights; thinking this would give us a better room. As the heating system wasn’t working we guessed all the rooms were the same and therefore nothing would be gained by complaining and we didn’t want to spoil our break by being negative. The rooms were very tired and needed some money spending on them.

Good location. Easy to park. Nice large rooms but with two twin beds pushed together the bedside lights and the table were too far away. Horrid pillows, one small, one square and they had a habit of falling down the back of the bed. Nice to have an inner door to shut our corridor noise. Quite area.

Ras je viens souvent à cet hôtel, très bien. Petit bémol peut-être sur le contenu du frigo qui a drastiquement été réduit.

Okay but could have been better

When we arrived the staff was not very friendly and helpful. Parking was difficult due to codes and the parking being away from the hotel. We had to ask for help from the hotel staff which we got, to get into the parking and out again. One couldn't open a window in our bedroom at all and there was an aircon which blew right onto the bed. So we were either hot and stuffy or in a cold draft. it was clean and quiet.

Les plus : - la localisation -> 10 min à pied de la gare Lille Flandres et surtout en plein dans le centre donc parfait pour visiter et profiter des resto - literie parfaite - télévision récente avec Canal+ - gamme de produits d'hygiène l'Occitane - mini bar gratuit -> hyper agréable d'avoir des boissons offertes - la déco plutôt stylée - salle de sport Les moins : - pas de baignoire -> dommage quand on vient de détendre un week-end - le bruit à l'extérieur -> nous avons l'habitude d'aller en week-end en hôtel et nous avons été étonné de ne pas voir plus de commentaires spécifiant les problèmes phoniques avec les jeunes qui crient littéralement sous les fenêtres vers 3-4h du matin. Heureusement nous arrivons à nous endormir facilement mais clairement il y a un pb au niveau des fenêtres. On a tout de suite vu qu'il y avait un jour. Nous avons essayé à plusieurs reprises de bien fermer les fenêtres mais cela ne changeait rien. Donc peut être étions nous trop bas dans l'hôtel (3e étage) et qu'au dernier étage, on est moins embêté par le bruit ?! Mais c'est le gros point noir de l'hôtel.

Not a 4-star hotel

At check in we were informed that if we had "green cleaning" of the room we would receive free drinks in the bar. We ordered "green cleaning" but discovered that the only thing that was done was that the bed was made. We needed toiletpaper for example but that was not provided - and no free drinks. That´s perfectly fine but why boast about it at check-in. The room (and the hotel) was a bit worn done and our bathroom was damaged by moisture around all the walls, the sink was leaking and the floor under it was puddled. The floor in the shower had big cracks and the top surface of the floor was missing on several parts. The telephone in the room was stone dead. No connection at all. The room thermostat was out of order which made the room to cold. We also had drinks in the hotel bar. Both an Aperol Spritz and a Mojito tasted just plain water. This is not a 4-star hotel. Far from it. Really disappointed. By the way. When we checked in we were informed that the minibar was free of charge. That seemed really nice and a generous gesture, but the fact was that the minibar contained of just one bottle - filled with water...... Just one more thing. Who is the clever man (or woman) that installed the sliding door to the bathroom whick make everything in the bathroom and everyone in it visible?

Location was right in the middle of things which is exactly what we wanted - great private parking which was super easy to access (extra charge but super convenient & reasonably priced seeing as we were right in the centre of Lille) ... breakfast was good but area was small, got busy and was a bit cramped ... room was spacious, clean & comfortable ... staff were friendly & helpful - we enjoyed our stay!

Great location in Lille. Air con did not work in one of our rooms. Key cards never worked. Had to get keys redone every time you need to get into the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
