「Room and amenities good. Loved the rooftop patio. Staff friendly. Wish it had been just a little closer to downtown, but on the bus line, so all worked out ok. 」

「This was our first time at the Ryder hotel. It was located very conveniently in downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly however, when we were by the pool, the service there was somewhat spotty. Often times staff would just ignore anyone who was sitting at a table and not offer them a drink. The pool was nice to have on a hot day however, it was very murky and cloudy looking. Not sure how often they check for chemical balance. Both my husband and I felt very itchy after being in the pool...

「Very chill place with employees that are laid back. Nice shared spaces. Pool nice. Pool bar and food service is a joke. Coffee shop managed well and full of good food and caffeine. Great gym! Tv in room was 1990s tech. Would stay again though bc price was right. 」

「Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of choices. The wine and cheese in the evening was a nice touch, but the unlimited water bottles in the cooler were a lifesaver as we were there during the heatwave!」
