"I stayed at ibis Genève Centre Lac during my trip to Geneva and, overall, I was very happy with my stay. For the price I paid, I thought it offered excellent value for money. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It’s conveniently located not far from Geneva Airport with excellent public transport connections, and the free Geneva Transport Card was a fantastic bonus. Most of the city’s main tourist attractions were within walking distance or just a short tram ride away, making it an ideal base for exploring Geneva. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s worth noting that the rooms are fairly basic and don’t include many amenities. For example, there isn’t a kettle in the room, although hot water and a kettle are available in the lobby. The bathroom is also on the smaller side, and I noticed the room door didn’t have a peephole or an additional security lock. None of these were deal-breakers for me, especially considering the price, but they’re worth knowing before you book. As with any city, I’d recommend using a little caution if returning to the hotel late at night. I personally had no problems during my stay. Before booking, I had originally planned to stay at the nearby Novotel, which is only around a five-minute walk away. After staying at the ibis, I think it was a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a central location without paying higher prices for extra facilities. Overall, I would happily stay here again"
