「Very nice family hotel next to Tua station and river Douro. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Good restaurant next door. Hotel serves a very good breakfast.」

「The pictures on Expedia and their website do not do justice to this place. It is a very impressive working winery and the rooms are well appointed. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent though service was mixed when it was busy. My only complaint is that the ‘smoking area’ for diners is close to the outdoor terrace and with the prevailing wind it meant that you could smell and taste the cigaretttes at that end of the terrace - not pleasant when you are not used to it.
