Very good hotel but could be better Bar restaurant is underused due to being overpriced in comparison to other local places, I only went in the once and they had no beer,which is something other reviewers have mentioned, never went in again Very simple to sort out,shame because it’s a nice bar That aside,I’m more than happy to stay there again Despite the noise from the bar,only up to 11:30 But it’s loud

I think it should be expressed that if you are going to stay here, you have to be a person that goes to bed late. The show drag queen show goes until midnight and for me the first few nights I was there. It only sucked because I was sick and could not go out anywhere so the music kept me up for those three days Otherwise great place.

This property was perfect for a solo traveler. The room was clean, with great air conditioning and facilities. While it can get a bit noisy in the evenings from the bars across the road, it didn’t affect my stay at all. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, and having a 24-hour reception was especially convenient for my late arrival.

Clean hotel but a little old and tired. Can’t praise the staff at the Zest highly enough, they were lovely - I unfortunately got sick while staying here and had to get a doctor - reception called to check up on me and see how I was feeling after me make sure I was okay - the staff were friendly and always greeted you with a smile. The only major drawback is the bar accross the road blasting loud music from 8pm-midnight. If you are a night owl and go out to party in the evening then it’s not an issue, but if you want rest and quiet this isn’t the place for you

Quiet roof top swimming pool short walk to beach.. bar shopping at the doorstep. For $40nzd a night U can't expect the ritz. .fantastic value highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They put me on the quiet side of the building as there is loud music until mid night. The breakfast was extremely tasty and the rooftop pool was enjoyable.

Staying here was unpleasant right from the second we walked in. After reconfirming my room requirement 3 times and being assured that’s what I was getting, I didn’t get it. There was no pool bar as advertised. No fridge that worked near the pool. It took over 30 minutes to get some towels. When we asked a basic question the answer was a straight out no, and they just kept walking. All of the staff were trainees so it’s not really their fault, I blame this terrible experience on poor management. I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend anyone else to stay here.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's a short walk to Double Six beach and lots of dining options right outside the door. My room was facing the street and there was a bar doing karaoke till about 11pm every night which was quite loud but I would (and probably will) stay here again.

Hotel staff are excellent, room was clean and well attended. A criticism would be the bedding wasn't the cleanest. One big criticism is the bar down stairs. The beer was constantly warm and you ran out of Bintangs 3 times in a 10 day stay , UNFORGIVABLE

We had an incredible stay at the Zest Legian Hotel! The staff were truly exceptional, always exceeding our expectations. The location was perfect, with restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. The rooftop pool was a highlight, with plenty of lounges and umbrellas. The rooms were as expected for what I paid, clean and comfortable (bed on the softer side) good shower pressure and effective aircon. My friend and I opted for 2x balcony rooms, which proved very handy for drying wet swimmers, towels etc. Noise from neighbouring bars is unavoidable, Live music is usually heard until around 11:30pm. Some shower gel is provided and complimentary toothbrush/mini toothpaste, plus 2 small bottles of water, replaced daily. You will need to bring your own shampoo, hairdryer etc. The rooftop pool and impeccable friendly service make this budget hotel an absolute stand out. I will definitely be coming back ☺️ Thank you to all the staff for making my stay in Bali such an enjoyable one.
