「Greeted by a welcoming friendly chap on reception. Room clean, tidy, everything you might need - decent enough sized bathroom, good sized bedroom. Loads of on site (secure)! parking. Breakfast plentiful and freshly prepared, loved the warm freshly baked croissant. A great overnight stay and will be back on our way home!」

「Perched high above Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the views are terrific. The rooms are exquisitely and thoughtfully furnished. The villa itself is like a museum with an endless and fascinating collection of art and objects. The breakfast was delicious and served by the owner himself. Although the weather was too chilly to sit outdoors, had it been warmer, it would have been an ideal place to lounge and enjoy the pool. Parking is on the street, but it was not a problem. Highly recommend for an experience...

Although we had a bit of a problem checking-in, he more than made up for our inconvenience with his conscientious, affable and charming personality. Hotel Les Goelands is a lovingly operated family business that has been in existence for 90 years.
