"Really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views from the room, very centrally located and close to the train, and looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Also highly recommend the pizza in the restaurant -- we ate here twice. And special thank you to Ellen at the front desk who was greatly helpful with some recommendations during our stay!"

"Wonderful property. Fantastic location. Beautiful views. Well maintained. Amazing and helpful staff. Clean spacious rooms. Good breakfast. However, there was no AC so it was warm but town was quiet and leaving windows open was adequate."

"The only negative thing about this stay was having to LEAVE!!! This is an amazing property sitting high on the hill with the MOST AMAZING VIEWS!!! I read some reviews about this property stating that it was a struggle to walk up the hill leading to the hotel but it is not that bad. You ARE in Switzerland so there are hills everywhere. The porter service transporting our luggage up the hill on check in day was a nice touch. The very nice gentleman met us at the station and toted our bags up the hill. The hotel is so conveniently located - literally 3 minute walk from the train station in Wengen and so convenient to the cute little village. The view from our balcony was stellar!!! I really enjoyed sitting out there both in the morning and the evening and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Lauterbrunnen valley. I would return to this property again and again (and actually plan to in the future!) The breakfast is excellent and in a beautiful setting. There is a cute lawn area where you sit by the fountain and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The front desk gentleman at check in was so very helpful in giving us info on the surrounding area and helped us determine what to do since we had a really rainy day and he suggested some options. The bonus was the dog (I think a cocker spaniel) who was so cute and greeted guests at the front desk. Stop looking for a place to stay in Wengen - you will not be disappointed in this property!!!!"

"Mario was fantastic. He was very friendly and helpful. There was always a hello and a greeting. He provided a breakfast for us as we left the hotel at 5am to catch our trains which was unexpected but very appreciated. There is no A/C but they provided a fan which was great. Breakfast was good. The location is fantastic as it is a 1 min walk to and from the trains. Pillows are terrible. Even doubled up they were as flat a a pancake. Overall, great experienced."

"If you’re thinking of booking this… just do it! This was the coolest hotel I have ever stayed at. Right off the train station at Murren up a steep short hill. They have a porter service but we just had back packs so just walked up the short path. Easy! Walkable to the little down town where they have a few shops and restaurants. We ate the first night at the hotel bar which had amazing views, great food and amazing service! Shout out to Mateo who was a great server! We also ate dinner in the restaurant the following night which was also excellent! The included breakfast is the best one I have had also. The rooms were clean and very updated and nice. Room includes access to the gym and spas which was also very nice. Overall recommend 10/10. We will be back!"

"This hotel is the perfect landing spot to explore this beautiful region. Easy access to hiking trails, transportation to other villages and to the iconic mountains. Make sure to spend some at the hotel’s restaurant the Deck, where the friendly staff and delicious food will make you feel like you are in a Hallmark movie. The hotel is not fancy yet it is perfect. Every guest is taken care of with the attention of a 5 star experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
