「The property is in a great location, but that might be the only positive to staying here. I did not read reviews before booking but suggest you do. There were cockroaches climbing the walls, hair in the sink upon my arrival, the bathroom window was open and the screen was part way out, there were stains on the curtains, electrical cords hanging around, and mold on the box spring. Within 10 minutes of being innthe room, i didnt feel well and ended up staying elsewhere instead. 」

「Horrible experience wierd activity going on outside. It took 45 minutes to check in due to the lobby being closed. No one picking up the phone after checking in and getting my room walked in the bathroom was locked. I couldn’t get anyone from the lobby to answer or open the door for me till about 3 AM. SMH do not recommend 」

「Always loved staying at Surfbreak very welcoming staff and accommodating! Especially the property manager Julie who is very understanding and welcoming! Parking is good and free, the breakfast at SC cafe is chefs kiss and location of this place is good! It’s nearby me and my partners favourite places such as the beach which is at least less than 5 mins away and our favourite local burrito place. Will definitely come back. Keep it up surfbreak! 」

「The remolded has done wonder for this property! The rooms are super clean and with new furniture. The only down side is that they ask for a cash deposit instead of taking a credit card.」

「The room was fairly clean. There was a blue "love-stained" chair in my room that I didn't touch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room looked nothing like the photos on the site. It's actually an old Econo Lodge. The smell, wear and tear of the room, and the inherent sketch of an Econo Lodge were evident. However, the shower was nice, and the bed was comfortable. I'm not really complaining, I'm just sharing the reality of the place so people know what they're getting into, unlike myself....
