"Great Location, right next to the canal. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. All the staff were really helpful. Internet very good, hotel clean and tidy. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of options. All in all a great stay and will use again for our next stay in birmingham. "

"Wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza. Everything was perfect. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was 10/10. The best thing about the experience was the staff. A big thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome (especially Finn and Hans at Reception). Service at breakfast was exceptional. Can't wait to return! "

"The hotel in general was ok. Having to book a table in the bar was not ideal when we wanted a quick drink. Room cleaning was really late and after spending a day out expected room to be clean when we arrived back at 4,30pm - it was not. Not much step free access , so not ideal if got mobility issues. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a wedding reception on the first floor on our first night, the noise was awful and went on until 2am, we had to complain along with a number of other guests, we were offered a higher floor room and a bottle of Prosecco. Staff were polite and courteous and couldn’t fault them but I don’t think we will be rushing back."

"Room did not smell nice, pillows very poor. Bathroom door would not shut. Staff not very welcoming on arrival. Breakfast nice."

"The room was very spacious and nice, clean nice view, had all the things that were needed, bathroom was okay, a little small but not too small, the shower water gets onto the floor and can soak the floor so be careful with that. But overall it’s great."

"Ok should have known staying at a hotel while it was having building work done, first night very cold and put it down to complicated temperature control. But the next day when going out seeing heaters being moved out of rooms. Once I returned I sat how cold it was and was promptly given a heater room was nice a toasty. Parking, once you have a space Don't move your car or lose the space. But I was warned. It was a shame that I encountered the member of staff knew nothing about road tolls or M6 charges. "

"Great place to stay and very convenient. Very clean, just slightly older bathroom furnishings but the shower was new and powerful, so amazing value for money."

"The hotel is very clean and perfect for a short stay, particularly well located for anything happening at the university. Rooms are comfortable with everything you need. There was a university event going on the first night and from the first floor you could still hear quite a bit of noise, but it didn't go on past midnight. The cost is high for the hotel and that was without including breakfast so it was a bit pricey for what you are getting."
