The hotel charged almost the entire stay as a “deposit for incidentals”. It took a week to get credited back to my card.

The first room we were in had some stains on the carpet and the AC didn’t work. But in all fairness to be hotel they moved us to another room, straight away and allowed a later check out. I would’ve perhaps liked complimentary parking especially as they didn’t give me the right code for that in the first instance for the Ring Go app which meant I could only book for 24 hours at a time and didn’t get the promised discount for the first day.

Beautiful hotel Impressive reception area. Booked basic double and that is what we got- nothing flashy, but very clean and functional for one nights stay. Staff very helpful and friendly Lovely breakfast again with pleasant staff Only downside is the price of parking But otherwise I would stay again

Stayed here a lot in the past. This time we were given the smallest room we’ve ever stayed in. Bed was a foot away from the toilet door. There was hardly any room at the foot of the bed too. Really awkward to navigate when moving around at night when you’re half asleep. Stained carpets. Hairs found in bed and in the bathroom. Tatty furnishings. I’ll fitting blinds with bad light leakage. Rude staff on reception. Won’t be returning.

A good hotel. Enjoyable stay. Even booked an extra night which was cheaper than Expedia so a lesson learned. I knocked a star off as the main lifts weren't working which was causing havoc.

We had an excellent stay at the Park Regis Birmingham, very spacious room, comfortable bed, nice view and a modern large shower. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with great choice and presented well. The service we received by the staff was 5 star, they were all friendly and couldn’t do enough for you especially Meheh. We are returning again at the end of September and we are already looking forward to see you all again - regards the Italian guy with decaf coffee 😊

I stayed on the 7th group as part of a group (We booked about 8 rooms) and we all had a very poor experience regarding ventilation. The room were so hot, we were roasting. We called reception and told them about the unbearable heat in the room, while they promised to adjust the AC remotely, nothing was done. On the second day, they had to bring a fan for us to use, which helped a bit. However many of the other party in our group were not so fortunate.
