It was 10.45pm. So our evening ended quite abruptly. 「Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend 」

「Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. 」

「The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. 」

「Check in was easy, room was okay for price , I asked to add some nice touches as it was my anniversary and I’d pay extra, they just left a note on the bed. Could not use the swimming pool as advertised on the booking as swimming lessons were being done. Staff didn’t tell me that even though they gave me towels and told me where the pool was.」
