Don't let the name confuse you - it is not an inn, it is a guest house, but a very good one that I will go to again. "Very helpful and polite staff. Went above and beyond during my stay. There was one fan in the room and two windows, one of which did not open all the way. Difficult to sleep during the heatwave as a result. Plus the corridors on the way to the room were quite hot and stuffy. The windows were all either partially or fully open along the way so I guess it could have been worse. Bed was comfy. I stayed in the deluxe room, which was huge, with a nice comfy couch and a sprawling bathroom. Wifi was great. Solid breakfast options and a nice bar in the lobby. Checkout was smooth as butter. Hotel was very centrally located in Ely, less than 5 mins walk from the Minster and a 15 min walk to the train station. Would definitely stay again. Just perhaps not during a heatwave."
