"Parking charges were unreasonably high, particularly given the lack of nearby amenities. During our four-night stay, the flat rate of £10 per day—regardless of duration—added an extra £40 per vehicle, which feels disproportionate and poorly justified. The initial interaction with reception was also disappointing. When I raised the issue, I was informed that, because the booking had been made via Hotels.com, no flexibility could be offered. I was further advised that the charge may have been waived had we booked directly with the hotel. This lack of transparency at the point of booking is unacceptable and creates an impression of unfair practice. As someone who regularly arranges accommodation for a team, this experience has significantly impacted my view of the hotel. The inflexibility shown and the lack of clear communication are concerning, and as a result, we will be reviewing alternative options for future stays."
