Overall things were ok. The reception area is small and felt disorganised when busy, at times felt like I was an inconvenience to be asking for things - customer service was lacking.
The hotel in areas is showing its age, but in the main it met our needs for a short visit. Room itself was comfy, well equipped, clean, everything soft to touch.
The air conditioning pretty sure wasn’t working in our room, quite warm, other areas in the hotel were more comfortable to be in and cooler.
Breakfast, good range of cooked foods and continental breakfast. Not sure what was going on with the hollandaise sauce with my eggs, more like a bowl of soup with eggs and muffins - very odd. Service was welcoming, full of smiles and all happy to assist.
Can’t compare it to other hotels in Cambridge but I think I might try somewhere else on my next visit.
